The field display of the DIH series is a 4 ... 20 mA current loop display that enables superimposed HART® communication between the transmitter and the control room. The display range and unit are therefore automatically selected according to the settings of the connected HART® transmitter. The common pressure and temperature units are already stored at the factory. A user-specific “user unit” can be programmed as required. The field display can show range alarms as well as MIN minimum and MAX maximum values. The fault current signal of the transmitter can also be detected and displayed. The display can be connected to any 4 ... 20 mA transmitter. The display is powered directly from the 4 ... 20 mA loop and therefore produces a voltage drop of no more than 3 V. The display can be mounted directly on a wall. A mounting bracket for pipes with a diameter of 1 ... 2” is also available as an option. The basic modules DIH5x-B and DIH5x-Z can also be installed separately in another enclosure. The display consists of an integrated display module and a cast aluminium or stainless steel housing.
