| Description | The WIKA wireless unit NETRIS ® is IIoT-capable and can be used for all applications requiring centralized, networked remote monitoring of measuring instrument data. The explosion-protected wireless unit receives digitized data from WIKA measuring instruments via an intrinsically safe interface. With a fully enclosed housing and degree of protection IP65, the unit continuously transmits the received data to the cloud via LoRaWAN ® or Bluetooth ® in configurable data packets. The battery-powered wireless transmission using LoRaWAN ® ("Long Range Wide Area Network") is based on LPWAN technology ("Low Power Wide Area Network"), enabling a large transmission range and long battery life. The wireless unit is connected to the appropriate WIKA measuring instrument via the supplied plug connector (M12 or Hirschmann connector). Replacement of the wireless unit during operation is supported in ATEX areas. Simple web configuration via the cloud and the LoRaWAN ® network ("Long Range Wide Area Network") supports complete end-to-end encryption and two-way communication, ensuring secure IIoT applications.
