Technical Specifications

Product CategoryCalibration Technology
Product TypePortable temperature calibrators
SummaryBasic version, optionally with DNV approval
ApplicationsTesting and calibration of temperature measuring instruments; Reference instrument for convenient measurement; Suitable for field applications
Key FeaturesHigh stability; Temperature switches can be tested; Compact, lightweight design; Easy to operate
DescriptionThis series of innovative calibrators has been specially designed for field applications and the harsh conditions encountered by the navy and marine sector. Their ease of use and compact, practical design make them unrivalled in industrial processes where the calibration of temperature measuring systems is the key to process control and product quality. The instruments feature an aluminium housing, with some internal parts made of aluminium and stainless steel, which reduces weight and dimensions while increasing robustness. Each calibrator is tested in our laboratory and calibrated against our reference instruments that conform to international standards. At this stage, all functions are checked against the reference parameters and a calibration protocol is issued. The heating section of this calibrator uses heating wires or Peltier elements for heating. The metal block contains a bore for accommodating a replaceable insert. The calibrator is supplied with a standard insert that covers a wide range of applications and can be used for calibrating temperature probes of common diameters. Customised inserts and bores can also be provided for our customers.
