SummaryFor converting sensor signals into current signals and protecting contacts from overload
ApplicationsConversion of sensor signals into voltage or current signals. Overload protection of contacts.
Key FeaturesOptional flameproof (Ex d) protection
DescriptionThe transmitters convert resistive inputs into proportional analogue and digital outputs. Input, output and supply are galvanically isolated from each other. The transmitters are particularly well suited for use with KSR level sensors. Set point relays use current/voltage signals to monitor the switching limits in the measurement. These signals can be generated by the transmitters. Set point relays can be configured using DIP switches and potentiometers. Contact protection relays are used for switching larger currents. A binary switch connected to the control circuit at the input triggers a relay with a higher contact rating. This significantly extends the service life of the instrument. The output relay is voltage-free. The input is safely isolated from the output and the voltage supply. Contact protection relays are temperature-stable and ensure reliable switching operation.
