DescriptionThe compact orifice plate can be conveniently used for measuring liquids, gases and steam. Differential pressure flow meters are used in many technical applications. As a primary flow element, the orifice plate is the most common solution. The orifice plate is distinguished by its easy installation and maintenance. The differential pressure generated by the primary flow element is usually converted by the differential pressure transmitter into an electrical signal proportional to the flow rate. Thanks to the compact design of the orifice plate, the measuring assembly is simple, plug-and-play and greatly reduces costs. The differential pressure transmitter and manifold valve are connected via compact pressure tap connections. The advantage of these measuring configurations is that impulse lines can be omitted. The compact orifice plate is available as standard with two pressure ratios. If the customer has specific requirements regarding the pressure ratio, our selection software can help simplify the design and selection process.
