DescriptionThe B1940 cable-type analogue signal amplifier amplifies the output signal of strain gauge force transducers and converts it into a signal acceptable to an indicator or downstream controller. Thanks to its compact housing, the B1940 can be mounted in any position using a thread-on wrench. The housing complies with protection class IP67 and is therefore suitable for use in harsh environments. All strain gauge force transducers that can be operated with DC voltage can be connected. The force unit consisting of cable amplifier and force transducer can be adjusted to suit customer requirements. A supply voltage of DC 18 ... 30 V ensures direct connection to a PLC; a supply voltage of 24 V is common. The analogue output can be processed directly in the PLC.
