| Description | The FRT series radar level transmitter is based on 80 GHz FMCW (frequency modulated continuous wave) technology for continuous level measurement of liquids and bulk solids. The instrument transmits high-frequency electromagnetic signals through its antenna; the signals are reflected by the medium surface and received by the antenna. The transmitted and received signals are processed by a series of signal processing steps and algorithms in the sensor electronics and converted into a level output. The level of virtually all liquid and solid media can be measured under almost any process conditions. With its instrument configuration and commissioning designed for simple use on site, the radar level transmitter provides an easy-to-install, accurate, reliable and cost-efficient solution for a wide variety of level measurement applications. In addition, tailored solutions can be provided according to the actual process requirements. |
