| Description | The resistance thermometer measuring insert described here has been designed for installation in the TR10-L thermometer. Operation without a thermowell is only recommended in exceptional cases. These measuring inserts are made of various mineral-insulated cables. The sensing element is located at the tip of the measuring insert. The measuring insert is fitted with a pressure spring so that it can be pressed down to the bottom of the thermowell. The following versions are available: tip-mounted sleeves to fit the inner diameter of the thermowell, without terminal block, with transmitter. The type and number of sensing elements, accuracy class and connection method can all be individually selected to suit the application. Only the correct length and diameter of the measuring insert can ensure sufficient heat transfer from the thermowell to the measuring insert. Various explosion-protection certificates can also be optionally selected for the TR10-K. This measuring insert is supplied without a terminal block; the customer can install a temperature transmitter themselves, or a WIKA analogue or digital transmitter can be selected. |
