| Description | The wetted parts of the PG28 Bourdon tube pressure gauge are made of Hastelloy® C276, making it particularly suitable for applications with corrosive media. Hastelloy® C276 is a highly corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with high resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion cracking in corrosive, oxidising and reducing media. WIKA manufactures the PG28 pressure gauge in 'S1' and 'S3' safety versions in accordance with EN 837-1. The safety-pattern gauge consists of a window made of non-shattering material, a safety baffle wall between the measuring system and the dial, and a safety blow-out back. In the event of a fault, the operator is protected on the front side, and media or components can only escape through the rear of the case. For harsh operating conditions (such as vibration), all instruments are also optionally available with liquid filling. WIKA also offers diaphragm seals of types 990.34 and 990.10, as well as type 4 Hastelloy® diaphragm pressure gauges. Diaphragm seals remain the first choice for safety-relevant applications. |
