| Description | Diaphragm pressure gauges are particularly suitable for low pressure measurement. The large working surface, the corrugated diaphragm element and the small measuring ranges enable reliable measurement. Diaphragm pressure gauges are manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The rugged case design is suitable for machinery, plant construction and water treatment industries. The upper and lower flanges connecting the case are made of different castings. These measuring instruments are mainly used for gaseous and liquid media that will not attack cast steel. For highly viscous, crystallising or contaminated media, an open flange is recommended. In contrast to threaded connections, an open flange connection does not require the relief valve to be blocked. The pressure chamber can be easily cleaned through the flush-mounted joint of the open flange. The measuring system with diaphragm element is of a special design, and the diaphragm element independently supports the upper flange, offering overpressure safety protection. As standard, the overpressure protection of the diaphragm pressure gauge is three times the full scale value. Higher overpressure protection is also available on request. |
