| Description | The field case temperature transmitter of the TIF40 series, consisting of a robust field housing, WIKA temperature transmitters of types T15/T16/T32/T38 and a display of type DIH, has been designed for general applications in process engineering. The field case temperature transmitters of the TIF40H series, with electro-polished housing, WIKA transmitters of types T15/T32/T38 and a display of type DIH, have been designed for hygienic applications. In addition to sensor-specific differences, e.g. sensors to DIN EN 60751, JIS C1606, DIN 43760, IEC 60584 or DIN 43710. The configuration for sensor failure causes an automatic switchover to the working sensor. In addition, sensor drift detection can be activated, whereby the temperature difference between sensor 1 and sensor 2 is compared against a user-selectable value. Range alarms, minimum and maximum values can be shown on the display. The field case temperature transmitter can be used in all kinds of field environments. It can be specified in stainless steel or aluminium. It can be mounted directly on the wall. A pipe mounting kit is also available for installation on pipes with a diameter of 2 to 3 inches. The field case temperature transmitter is supplied with a basic configuration or configured to the customer's specifications. |
