| Description | This series of resistance thermometers is a universal thermometer for measuring liquid and gaseous media in a temperature range of -50 ... +250 °C [-58 ... +482 °F]. Intrinsically safe versions can be used in hazardous areas. Depending on the version, resistance thermometers with a 3 mm [0.12 in] probe diameter can withstand pressures of 14 MPa [2,030 psi], while those with a 6 mm [0.24 in] probe diameter can withstand 27 MPa [3,916 psi]. All electrical components are protected against dust and water ingress to IP67 or IP69K and are designed to withstand vibration up to 20 g depending on the version. The thermometer can either provide a direct output (resistance) or an integrated transmitter, individually configurable with the free WIKAsoft-TT configuration software. Measuring range, damping, error signal to NAMUR NE 043 and tag number can be adjusted. Depending on the specific application, customers can select different insertion depths, process connections, sensors and junction boxes when ordering. The TR31 resistance thermometer includes a thermowell/protection tube with a fixed process connection and can be mounted directly into the equipment via a thread. The electrical connection is made via an M12 x 1 circular connector or directly via cable. The M12 x 1 circular connector can be converted into a square connector to DIN EN 175301-803 form A via an electrical adapter plug (patent no.: 001370985). As a special feature, the miniature resistance thermometers can also be customized to suit the customer's on-site requirements. |
