| Summary | High-temperature version, up to 450 °C [842 °F], with internal diaphragm |
| Applications | For processes with extremely high-temperature media; 360 °C [680 °F] to max. 450 °C [842 °F]; Suitable for corrosive gases and liquids of low viscosity that do not crystallize, as well as for corrosive environments; Process industry; Oil and gas industry, chemical and petrochemical industry |
| Key Features | Common standards and nominal widths available; When special materials are selected, all wetted parts are made of this special material; Version with integrated flushing connection available |
| Description | A diaphragm seal protects the pressure measuring instrument from damage caused by hazardous media in applications. In a diaphragm seal system, the diaphragm separates the instrument from the medium. The pressure is transmitted to the measuring instrument via the filling liquid inside the diaphragm seal system. We offer diaphragm seals in different designs and materials as well as system filling liquids to meet the varying application requirements of our customers. For more technical information on diaphragm seals and diaphragm seal systems, please refer to IN 00.06 “Application, principle of operation, designs”. The model 990.45 is a high-temperature version consisting of an upper and a lower part of the diaphragm seal. The lower part of the diaphragm seal is optionally available in a design with flushing connection. These parts were specially developed for applications with high-temperature media. Process connections in established dimensions are available in accordance with market-common standards. The diaphragm seal can be mounted to the measuring instrument via a flexible capillary. |
